Strategic Planning in the Murdo Area
Strategic Planning provides guidance towards economic drivers in Murdo. The stakeholders are community members that desire to help the Murdo area thrive and were lead with the question- "How might the Murdo Development Corp. make the best impact so the Murdo area can thrive--both now and into the future?"

Growing Housing Opportunities
Making housing opportunities available by acquiring land/lots for public at cost. Our current project we are working on is mapping the community, identifying houses and open lots creating an inventory of housing opportunites.

Supporting Daycare
Supporting and strengthening our current and growing daycare needs for a sustainable future. Our current focus is on gathering providers to a social hour, allowing providers to identify their needs and areas of support.

Enhancing Community Unity
Facilitating communication and cooperation between various community groups and communicating a vision and excitement for our hometowns. Our vision is to host mixers and laugh and learn opportunities for the community to gather together and support one another.

Create Career Opportunities-Developing a Workforce
Developing and supporting the workforce and future opportunities. Our current project is to work with the Jones County School District and area businesses to bring awareness areas of need and opportunity of growth in the Murdo area.
